Samsung A5 Old Version Can't Turn On Wi-Fi

[Android Central Question]

I cannot turn on the Wi-Fi on my phone. It's a Samsung A5, model number SM-A500H, Android version 5.0.2. Before this, the Wi-Fi usually took about a minute to be on, but now it just does not turn on at all.
I have already tried rebooting my phone and turn on/off the Airplane Mode.
Please help! Thanks so much!

I couldn't put my phone on Safe Mode after repeating the said steps though

I could not put my phone but I tried uninstalling some apps

I turned on safe mode and uninstalled some applications but it's still not working

You might have to keep on uninstalling apps (or just do a factory reset, and then prevent the phone from automatically reinstalling all of its previous apps).
