What do you think will happen to Android if Samsung switches over to Tizen? Also, if they do this soon, what OS or hardware device will you move to if you leave Samsung?

I'd probably stay with Android until Tizen gets more support.

I don't think Samsung will ditch Android for a while, if they ever do.

Samsung may opt for android/tizan variants. This may not be long term though.

They may use tizan for other products and keep Android for smartphones.

Or use Tizan for the premium range and Android for the budget devices.

Or ditch Android all together but that won't happen until it's 99% ready and the 1% update fixes kinda deal.

That's my take on it feel free to disagree lol

The new Galaxy Gear is rumored to have Tizen. We shall see if it is true, and how well it operates.

Edit: saw the rumor on USA Today's news app.

I just worry about Android, I like Android a lot and Samsung is the main leading phone sold with Android. I think it might be time for Google to advertise the hell out of the Nexus devices though. You can't beat a device that runs stock Android. :)

Samsung won't ditch android entirely. At least not until they have an app store on par with Google's
