I find it unacceptable that Samsung, with it's latest Android update, blocks any non-Samsung version and this is not acceptable, as I have told them - Fredrik
QOUTE
How can I disable Knox, so that I can install other ROM's on my SM-N9005. As an individual customer I have no need for that level of security and find it unacceptable that Samsung forces me to use only Samsung approved Android versions. I should be free to use the Samsung hardware with whatever software I choose and would not hesitate to take legal action if Samsung continue to abuse it's position in this way.
You could imagine the uproar, would Microsoft or Google try something similar!

Welcome to Android Central! It may be an annoyance, but Samsung is pretty much free to do whatever it wants with its own products. You can vote with your money--next time, buy a device from a different manufacturer!

Sure, but in this case they changed the game en route! All was fine when I bought and until this autumn 4.4.2 update.
