Resources shouldn't really be an issue with 2GB of memory and most of the pre-installed apps/services have little to no impact on performance/battery life. And in the end, you're still waiting for verizon to fine tune their mess before pushing updates which is the main issue.

It isn't when apps are working properly that I am worried, more like when apps behave badly like the ballsbuster app when the thunderbolt was released or vla when it was snuck on via update on the rezound.

You are right though, assuming that the apps are working correctly, then it should not make much difference.

LOL sounds to me they all have this index card on what to say. cause they have said the same thing..Well it would be nice to get next week since, we were all anticapting july 9th. So Verizon putting on bloatware.. This will be my 2nd smartphone. so someone please explain what this is and how is that bad..

"Bloat" can be helpful in some instances. Vzw was able to remote control my Droid Charge and see there was a data issue. They are sending me another one. Verizon requires backup assistance app and my Verizon to be installed on all Android phones. That's why the GNex was considered to be bloated. These apps I can live with.

What I can not stand is stupid golf games you can't delete. They take up space and there's no simple way to get rid of them. On my Droid Charge there are 24 apps on here that I can not delete.

So I just chatted with a samsung rep and a verizon rep (cause I'm cool like that) and the Verizon Rep told me all phones will be shipped out on 7/11 regardless of day ordered and the samsung rep simply said they had no information, which is probably the most honest answer anyone has ever gotten from a rep. None of them have any idea.

Call two more verizon reps and you'll get to more different answers. This is the first one I've heard of that has said all will ship on 7/11. Don't believe it.

Don't you realize half the population here is starving and the other half is answering the same question from the same guy, over and over again. You Americans are idiots, you ordered a phone from a company that said you will have it next month. This whole conversation was in very very fast Indian ( of which I don't speak a word ) , but I believe that those were the bullet points of the conversation.

Could VZW's "bloatware" be their ISIS Mobile Payment platform? It would be a very good reason to delay their launch over other carriers as they have to be dead sure it works and is as secure as they can make it before its released to their customers.

Verizon will have to launch it someday... this is the perfect phone to start with.
