I just spent 38 minutes on the phone with Samsung trying to delete 800+ bookmarks so I can start over with a fresh sync. I use Chrome (and bookmarks) on my laptop and Samsung browser on my phone. I use the Chrome extension for Samsung Internet bookmarks but it is messed up.

I deleted all from the phone but the Samsung Cloud is still storing all 800+ bookmarks. They could NOT figure out how to do it and told me they couldn't. Suggested going into an authorized service center or AT&T for more help. Can't believe the manufacturer customer service can't figure this out!

I can figure out many things on my phone but this one has me stumped! I've cleared cache and storage within the apps, but within the cloud screens there is no way to get rid of them.

Suggestions greatly appreciated!!!!!

After much more research I got the Samsung cloud "items" stored down to 90 from 832! I found instructions for an older phone thinking they were more for displaying bookmarks on a chrome cell browser but these were the steps.

On your phone, go to home Settings > Apps > Show system apps
Next, find and tap com.android.providers.partnerbookmarks
I cleared the cache, cleared the data then disabled it.

Restarted the phone.

After checking the cloud and seeing it removed most everything I re-enabled the system app above. Now when I use the Samsung Internet extension for Chrome, the bookmarks are no longer messed up! Hooray!!! Still can't believe Samsung had no answer for me!
