Samsung Cloud

I have an unlocked Z Fold 4 on Verizon network. I am now on a Verizon S23 ultra. I can't find Samsung Cloud on here. I backed everything up on my Fold using it.

my understanding is that Samsung Cloud is not available if you're using a Verizon provisioned device. you must use their backup.

Samsung unlike apple still kisses carriers butts and allow them to dictate certain things yet. With Verizon, if they have it as a add on feature, usually at a cost, Verizon blocks it.

Lol yea they were suppose to discontinue it like 2 years ago but didn't. Only thing they killed was cloud backup for secured folder. Can restore whatever your last backup was before they stopped letting you backup your folder.

That's one main reason why I order unlocked from Samsung instead of from Verizon.

Find My Mobile is also disabled by Verizon, and it's better than Find My Device.

What good are those cloud services when they can get discontinued on the whim, some carriers blocking certain ones, and filesize limits, etc. Pointless IMO. I have 22TB of storage on my PC, I'll just backup whatever I want, whenever I want to my PC, and much faster.

Samsung cloud isn't discontinued some things can't be backed up do to Samsung having partners like one drive (Microsoft or Google... I use this and PC Smart Switch because PC Smart Switch back up photos and more .
