This deal is getting weirder by the hour. just checked again my cancelled order and it was for the buds+ ordered with the s20+ and they are showing backordered. This order was placed about 12:10 am, 10 minutes after oders were opened. How do you run out of stock for the first orders?
Now let's see what happens with the phone orders. So far ultra orders are looking to be pretty screwed up.

Love the excitement here as well. ngl, it helps when there's a bunch of us waiting impatiently, watching Fedex and Samsung order status changes by the minute.
Meanwhile, secretly hoping the Ultra out-of-stock/backorder fiasco doesn't trickle down to the my S20+ 512 Verizon variant. Still in process, still expected March 6 on the order status (with Buds +).
Got the 25W portable battery and green Kvadrat case each in a separate order (with the $35 post-preorder email bonus) and the case shipped and will be here Friday, portable battery in process.
EDIT: Order placed at 1:23 am on Friday Feb 21. Was having issues for 90 minutes because the Kvadrat case wasn't available and was botching the whole order process when I tried to preorder everything and took some troubleshooting to figure that out, which is why it's a separate order (I had to remove it from the cart for the preorder to go through)
Oh my gosh. I'm 512 ultra.Think you're safe. It's the Ultra that seems to be in short supply. Specifically the 512 GB variant. Think that will be the only one hard to find come release.

well, i hope so.
i stayed up late to do my ordering at 12:05AM, then, got a cancellation email at 12:45AM. got out of bed to do a SECOND order at around 12:50AM.
i just can't imagine that samsung.com would be all out of the Ultra 512 at 12:50AM!!!

i placed mine around 12:50AM, roughly 50 minutes after pre-order began, and mine is still showing the cancel button.
I placed my order about 11:10 cdt which would have been 12:10 edt or 9:10 pdt. I tried starting a few minutes early and it wouldn't let me do anything and then it allowed me to place the order. So, I had to be really early in the placement line.
Hmmm, just had a brain fart, what' if they put out the labels for the credit orders to get them out of the way early and then just had the system put them on backorder to put a manual hold on the process? Once the phones are ready they release all the orders for shipping at the same time. Just a thought.
I have seen people freak out why my status hasn't changed every release and eventually it'll all work out. I know me saying doesn't make you feel any better since I have already tried that but I'll say one last time you should be fine. Come Monday night if we 512 GB Ultra unlocked folks don't have a tracking number then I'll join you and we can freak out together
