Mine is in the local sort destination facility, it all depends if it’s sorted out from there to my local distribution center in the early morning. If they do that then I’m most likely good to go as my pick up is at my local distribution facility. But i have seen FedEx packages sit at the local sort destination facility till the night before delivery date. Let’s see how it goes with this one.

Just hit up Samsung chat and i'm getting the restriction lifted for my Wed delivery. Will receive an email within 24hrs. Also i'm on the military/government employee discount Samsung site and when I pre-ordered the phone didn't have the discount applied so they said they'll give me a code once the phone is delivered...FYI for anyone who takes advantage of that discount on Samsung products

yes same here held with ipad app says nothing about cant pick up however on fedex.com it does do to shipper restriction no hold i have got calls from local fed ex saying they cant hold we may get calls this am.

I told to hold at Fedex site but fedex.com now has note due to shipper restrictions it can't be. I called fedex and said I can get tomorrow otherwise will deliver it...confusing. Samsung chat said would let me know in 48hrs about removing..lol, too late then.

Anyone else see that notice on fedex.com?

I feel like im the only person who is gonna get it thursday or after even though I ordered it at 12:01 AM on samsungs site....

This happens every year. Nobody seems to go by the order of when orders were placed. This time I'm on the other end, I ordered last Wednesday and scheduled to get here Wednesday, usually I'm in your situation.

Have you seen any action on your order status? Might not hurt to do the dreaded call to Samsung to make sure there's no issues on the order that you can't see.

My S20Ultra is at the local sort facility just 30 minutes from me. But my shipping label says delivery on 3/5. I called Fedex to see if it would go out today since it is at the local sort facility. They said due to shipped restrictions it will be delivered tomorrow. ARGH! LOL

The people are in shipping mode on here, so you were overlooked.

To answer your question.. Nobody really knows if they are on back order or not. Order page says available, when the order starts the shipping process it changes to back order, yet everyone is getting multiple packages from Samsung. So we are thinking they are coming, but who knows.

Just go thru with the order, if they really are on back order you will get them later, probably a couple weeks, but at least you will get them. They will definitely go on back order when the people that ordered thru their carriers or best buy get their phones and start putting their orders in. You will have a headstart over them anyway.

Samsung is notorious for their orders to be screwy like that online. I'm guessing they are coming for everyone. Later this week when best buy and carrier customers start hitting the orders up, they probably will go on back order then they usually do.

Well I'm done lol. No label for the phone, haven't been charged either but the buds that were supposedly backordered shipped. Next time I'm not even going to bother ordering at midnight on the first day or paying for Express shipping. Wtf.

Express shipping is for shipping. Does nothing for processing orders. For some reason they don't process orders in order of when order was made

I ordered a plus from T-Mobile through Samsung and still no shipping information and the Samsung rep is telling me no one is getting shipped until Thursday lol. I too ordered minutes after midnight on the same night and paid extra for shipping.

To be fair when we ordered they were in stock, they didn't show backordered. But if they show backordered now may be they are if you place order now.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. But, I've been experiencing some buyers remorse. With a Note 10+ 5g and a 10+ it's seeming pretty crazy to spend on the S20+ that I ordered. Reviews are mixed and the more I think about this the more inclined I am to send it back. I'll make the final decision after I receive it and and work with it for a couple of days to see if it's worth the money to me.
