Got my ultra today. Love the phone but not overly impressed. Decided to order the 20+ as well and see which one I like more. Is there a fee to return to Samsung and how picky are they bc I kinda already removed the screen protector to install the glass one.

No they aren't, they don't charge restocking fee and the removing of screen protector should be fine.

Yes specifically for the unlocked version, I don't know about carrier versions since I don't buy them

I've never had unlocked. I got the 128 unlocked, maybe a Verizon 512 at best buy if they pull thru. I have a decision coming soon, don't know what to do

Hard to imagine best buy having any 512 GB in store. Most of the local stores might only have the base models.

I doubt they will. When I heard of the possible shortages I ordered from Samsung. I'm just worried I'll loose something I use on the Verizon variants.

Print the trade in shipping label, package it safely in a shipping box.
Follow instructions from trade in email they send you once you receive your phone and send it within 15 days (they give you the date on the trade in email)

Just got email from Sammy tonight about trading in old device by March 18th...I got my S20+ on 3-2
But all free accessories are still “in-process”

What don't you like about the Ultra?

Not sure. Maybe I got a bad one but my pics look like crap, very fuzzy and noisey. I'm not much of a picture person so I don't use the camera much unless taking pictures of my critters. I have the note 10+ now and it's kinda the same thing in the sense of size and weight. Yeah I can use it one handed for the most part but I think I'd rather the lighter phone. Lol idk I ordered the s20+ as well today to see them and compare them together a couple of days and return whatever one I like least. Plus I wanted to order before the freebies were up in case I do return the ultra. Again nice phone but for me not nice enough to warrant the extra 200

What about changing the night before to pick up at Walgreens, will that work

Not 100 percent sure but it's worth a try. If it doesn't work they might allow you to change it to a hold after first attempt.
