Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

So wildly wondering here... I am seriously contemplating switching to Verizon from AT&T (after the latter jacked up our per line rates without notice). I am still in my 15 day window for my Note 10+ unlocked pre-order. Could I ask Samsung to "exchange" Note 10+ for Note 10+ 5G (I would pay the difference)? I only see a return button. But I want to keep my $150 of freebies. Don't want to return them as well.

Sure ask for it and see what they say.

Unfortunately they won't be able to do it. The only way will be to return and buy the 10+ 5G version. It's the same with most retailers, you could still ask until and may be they can give you another coupon code as a way to compensate. But you probably will have to return everything and then buy the new one.

Definitely ask , I had pre ordered the s8 from tmobile once I received it I wanted the s8+ and they said no problem pay the difference and shipped the s8 back and still got the pre order gifts but Samsung might be different.

It's often easy to keep freebies from carriers. As far as exchanges, Verizon as an example won't even let you change color on defective units. If you simply return it you pay a small restocking fee which isn't much. I know Google doesn't do exchanges for different models. Not 100 percent sure about Samsung. I guess the best thing is to ask Samsung.

Yeah , I know carriers handle things differently but i guess that's why you have the 14 or 15 day window ...maybe you got the wrong size ,color, storage . But it's always good to call and find out .

You would likely have to just return the phones and then re-purchase them. If they do allow an exchange it would likely be for the same exact phone but it never hurts to ask.
As far as the freebies, you wouldn't send them in or even mention them. You still pre-ordered the phone and that's what the freebies are for. We had something similar happen with the note 8 preorders (however we ordered directly from the carriers) but we had to exchange our phones....never sent back any of our free items. In fact Samsung had approved us to get freebies again, so we did.

I just got an email with my premium care and an IMEI but I dont know for which phone hahaha
