I signed up for the reserve pre order and was only offered $100!

It was only showing my husband a 100 last night and the chat guy gave me a reserve link to use and then we reclicked on samsung from Rakuten and it showed us 150 that time instead of just a 100.

Really? Wow! I guess I shouldn't get to excited at least I have my S22U but to get the 23 early would be nice but since we didn't order till last night who knows we may not get ours till the 17th which is fine. I still need to decide on which case I want.

@Rose4uKY: on wow! that was my issue when i tried to order during the Unpacked event and i didn't know what to do, so i just went ahead. damn it, so that means i lost out on $50? that's literally bait and switch!

They baited me on getting extra money credited to me for signing up early, and then when i tried to order, they don't automatically give the extra credit to me, but rather, REQUIRE that one must call in to get that credit, i.e. jumping through hoops!

that's not right. darn it. disappointed. then again, i already ordered! so what can i do at this point?

You call Samsung on the phone even though it's going to take time I got hung up on twice today. I chose to be canned back But explain to them exactly what happened and tell them you don't want to cancel and reorder and that you should have gotten 150 instead of 100 they'll give you a promo code for $50.. That should anyway cuz my husband was supposed to get an extra 35 from his work discount and I got mine and I saw the total price was different on both of ours and I realized his $35 work discount didn't show up the second time cuz I had to redo his so they gave me a $50 promo code for him.

Rose is correct. I ordered my S23 Ultra during the Unpacked event. Wasn't awarded the extra $50 in accessories credit. Got on the chat later that night and they gave me a code for the additional $50.
 
Any chance we actually get them the 13th? My experience the last few years is we get them the Tuesday 2 weeks after pre order.
 
For people who plan to use Rakuten for 15% cashback.
They did not apply any cashback to my order. The reason... using the coupons not listed on Rakuten. Duh! The only discounts I have on this order are the promotions Samsung provided for preorder.
Anyone else had this issue?

No. I was on fence about ordering my phone through T-Mobile or getting another unlocked from Samsung and then yesterday a nice surprise popped up - the rebate from T-Mobile for switching carriers to them from Verizon! I had completely forgotten about the $200 per line rebate ($400 in total) and that made decision easy to stay with unlocked from Samsung. Also I had just watched a YouTube video about making sure to use a link to keep the $150 credits from Samsung (https://events.release.narrativ.com...am=1799166467131124375&ar=1799166467495606066). So on Samsung website I logged in and put my phone and a pair of Galaxy Pro Buds in cart making sure the $150 promo credit was applied and then went to Rakuten app and reopened Sammy cart making sure Rakuten activated banner was there (also took screenshot for verification). Checked out and this morning has email showing cash back had been given for the purchase.

All in between the trade in on my Note 20 Ultra, the TMo rebate, Rakuten rebate and anticipated resale of Galaxy Pro Buds I estimate my unlocked phone will end costing me around $200! So hubby is getting a TMo carrier phone for $200 and I'll get my unlocked for about the same price. Also managed to sweet talk TMo into giving me a credit to offset their new $35 activation fees!

Now on to search for cases and screen protectors!
 
Unlocked graphite now backordered? My order said receive by February 17th yesterday, and even right now it doesn't show a delayed date if you try ordering an unlocked graphite

It's Samsung's website so glitching is a high possibility. How did you get it for $449. I assume you are trading in fold 4. I could only get to $699 trading in S22U. I'm hoping you found something I didn't see.

Yeah I'm trading my Fold 4. I might come back to the fold line if they build in the s pen and improve the cameras. But yeah... I'm not sure what my next move should be with that updated backordered business. Don't know if it's real or not. And if it is, I might cancel and settle with black. The Samsung exclusive colors seem to be the first to go on backorder. In my experience the order page status is the one that's more accurate for shipping and delays. IMO, if you want it right away I would go the black, that's probably the color they make the most quantity of.

You can do what I've done in the past, order both and the one the cancel button goes away first you can cancel the other one.

I didn't have an issue. I clicked the popup when I got to Samsung and I was worried it would not work since I had to sign in and go through a million clicks to get the order completed. The next morning I got this confirmation:

I don't know if there is any way for you to get the cashback now without canceling and reordering. Sorry that happened to you.

Did you use any pre-order discount and trade-in? They stated because I already have other non-Rakuten discounts, the cashback cannot be provided. I'm using Rakuten for many years with Samsung and a discount from Samsung was never an issue. I actually tried to cancel and re-order and it still didn't work.

My order used the $100 Samsung pre-order credit plus a $50 promo code that Samsung issued me (because my registration bonus went missing), but Rakuten still confirmed that I'm getting ~$180 cash back for the purchase.

I went thru Rakuten got rakuten border saying activated,made my purchase and received confirmation but nothing since. So I just contacted Rakuten to see about my cash back. I have had this issue before and usually it Samsung needing to confirm purchase. I have my receipt. I will get cash back eventually.
