Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

They usually leave a door tag that you can sign and they will leave the second day if you feel confident it won't get stolen off your porch.

I deliver for FedEx Ground, so this may be different for Express, but the door tag that can be signed is for "Indirect Signatures". If it is an "In Person Signature", the driver will leave a tag, but the place to sign is torn off, because it requires a signature on the handheld computer.

Even though my phone has now officially been picked up by FedEx, samsung still shows no shipment on their end. I love having the FedEx home account where they tell me what is coming to my house. Helps around Christmas time when other people are sending you packages. We have the same thing with UPS. Everyone should subscribe to these free services if they have an address that allows for it.

Amen...I love the UPS and FedEx notifications from these services.

I ended up getting my shipment notification from Samsung as well. Roughly an hour and fifteen minutes after notification from FedEx, my phone lit up with simultaneous email, text, and Shop App notifications from Samsung confirming the shipment of the S10 and the Buds.

It appears these were sent requiring Indirect Signatures...or at least that is what mine shows.

I wish I wouldn't have gone with the Flamingo for AT&T, I am a sucker for any tech device that is Orange or close to it. Still no movement. At this point, if I change my order, I won't get the ear buds, so I guess I have to wait it out.

Any 1TB shipping confirmation?

I still have a cancel option and a "will arrive by March 8th"... Almost contemplating going back to 512GB at this point.

Going to wait a few hours as the wireless charging stand alone said "will ship March 4th"... but nothing yet. Assumed they'd ship together today, but still have a cancel option on that too.

I did have to change colors from white to black so ended up ordering the 1TB five days later, but kinda went with the 1TB because I could still get early shipping with it.

I do NOT have anything special with FedEx. Still though... I have the option to cancel when many others have went away a few days ago. Will see and make any final decision by end of the day if I change anything (again).

I ordered one for my brother. I'm waiting for the note 10 for me. I think I'm more excited than my brother for this phone to be delivered. still waiting for shipping confirmation.

FYI, that option to cancel may not work now. Mine didn't for my N9 order which is now 2 weeks since I tried to cancel it, and it still hasn't canceled or shipped. And Samsung seems to keep saying its at the warehouse preparing for shipping....for 2 weeks?! Yeah, I think its stuck.

I ordered a few hours after preorders went live and haven't gotten a tracking number. Looks like I'm set for 3/8, was hoping for a 3/6 delivery since my Galaxy watch gets here that date. S10+ in black by the way.

whats your order number and zip and ill look you up in fed ex system and see if they have a tracking by your order number. Send it to me in a message. Its what i had to do to find mine since Samsungs website updates so slowly

Thanks. Not sure what's going on or if I could even cancel. How is that even an option on the charger that "will ship March 4th" idk. If I did, I'd just be delaying it but then go through Amazon and save a bunch of money with credits from them.

That's crazy with the N9. Hopefully you weren't charged. I believe you can just refuse delivery (if it comes to that) and will get refunded. I just checked my credit card and nothing there or pending, but my total available credit has the price of the S10+ deducted although I am pretty sure it has been that way for a while.

Just the first charge, but it fell off. It's holding my AT&T line from doing an upgrade again though which sucks. Till they release it. I plan to reject it if shipped, but it needs to at least ship! :(

So for FedEx Ground, what that means is, when the driver shows up, if no one is home they will leave a door tag and at the bottom is the section you print and sign your name and then leave that tag on your front door. The next day the driver will attempt re-delivery. When they see that door tag, they will scan it in and then turn the tag in at the end of the day. They will then leave your box and you'll get it when you get home. Again, this process may be different for Express.

It says indirect signature required, so leaving the signed form should work fine, but it is always at the discretion of the driver.

I had mine shipped to work so I can't sign up for FedEx delivery manager but at least a signature won't be a problem. Just wish I knew if it was on the way yet.

No it's not. If the driver scans the package to deliver and his/her computer states Indirect Signature and there is a signed form on the door, they are going to leave the package. They don't want to be going back to the same house day after day for the same package.

send me your order number with your zip code where its being shipped. i did the same thing and i figured out how to track it. send it to me in a private message and ill see if you got a tracking number yet

The info about my S10 shipping along with my girlfriends is nothing new. But what I do find interesting after checking both tracking numbers is that my delivery is only requiring an indirect signature while hers is requiring a direct signature.

I ordered both of them with my Samsung account but a day apart from each other. It's not a big deal since I will be home to sign for them on Wednesday when they come, but I thought it was interesting that things aren't consistent.
