It's probably because I cancelled my order and re-ordered it but even still it should have changed by now

Has anyone seen any updates on the tracking status?

I've seen some on other forums. Not many. Some will be getting theirs today. As for me, my tracking number is still not pulling up any data on UPS. I'm thinking I'll get mine tomorrow.

Hopefully there is an origin scan today night and not on 6th as some reps are saying as shipping date. If 6th is truly the shipping date then we won't be seeing origin scan until tomorrow night.

I am not sure why i feel this way, but ordering from the mothership just really adds to the whole experience. There is always drama, uncertainty and surprise. I kind of like it....

I ordered the Note 7, S8+ and now the Note 8 and it has yet to go what i would call smooth. Always some hiccups and missteps. I can not really blame Samsung though, i knew what to expect.

Definitely, as long as they ship before the promised 9/11 date on my pre order I have no complaints. If we get early which looks like we will even though the packages are not moving still, it's just a bonus.

I contacted Samsung's e-commerce number and asked why my tracking number pulls no information.. Sadly they said a lot of tracking numbers were sent by mistake.. They said some will go out on the 7th but nothing sooner

WTF. It was the 5th, then the 6th and now 7th? Why do they keep delaying it? Well I probaby won't get mine before Irma. Latest official forecast has it at the Keys on Sunday and getting into the far eastern Gulf. They will probably tell me to leave Saturday then because in a 4 from the gulf I could be under water.

Irma is 180mph now. Supposed to be 145 on Sunday.

I agree but without giving them any personal information, all I said was my tracking number had no information, they knew I was referring to my Note 8 order. So they probably have no idea when it'll actually ship but the useless tracking numbers being sent out by mistake was probably accurate.

thats any customer service when its people being impatient. Launch isnt till 15 so we all need to breath.

Don't think tracking numbers are inaccurate, they are just preparing for shipment. Once UPS picks up whenever Samsung has scheduled that, it'll become active and show origin scan etc.

They said they looked up my order (I provied them the order number) and they said the system shows expected deliver on the 7th. So I guess we will see....

Don't think tracking numbers are not inaccurate, they are just preparing for shipment. Once UPS picks up whenever Samsung has scheduled that, it'll become active and show origin scan etc.

Whenever I have Pre-orderd from AT&T (if you think pre-ordering from Samsung is crazy try AT&T) the tracking number NEVER went live until AFTER I actuly got the phone (4 differned preorders). It would show nothing for days, suddenly my phone whould show up out of the blue, then the next day I would get a diliverd notification (on the new phone no less) that the phone had been deliverd.

I really hope that's true. Since I ordered on the 26th and you ordered on the 27th, I hope our "preorder" status goes away soon and says shipped.
