I remember the same damn thing happening to me when I tried to pre-order using Paypal on the 24th. I just said F it and manually inputted card information

I'm going to wait a bit. maybe as long as when the iPhone pixel and moto x get announced. I'm sad

Exact same situation here! Just saw the charge hit. Makes me wish I would have ordered the black one the first time as I ended up cancelling the order I placed on 8/24 (for orchid gray) and entered a new one on 8/28 for black. That appears to have cost me my place in the pecking order else I likely would have the phone by now. Actually, wish I could have CHANGED my initial order rather than having to cancel it and start over. Oh well.

That's not my case. I ordered on the morning of the 24th, and my order just changed to confirmed today. Still hasn't shipped.

It would be nice to get an idea from someone as to how long it takes to go from confirmed to shipped, but I guess nobody cares about this thread after their phone has shipped.

Just to let you know you're not alone, I'm in the same boat. Order 8/24 and my status just changed to confirmed. I did standard shipping and didn't do the Note 7 deal. I acutally don't want it today, because I'll be at work.

I don't even know when I will get mine due to the hurricane. Still sitting in Louisville. Depends if UPS suspends delivery to my area tomorrow. Would know at 5am when forecast track comes out. If it shifts more west. I just worry about the 15 days to turn in my S7 Edge counting down. I'm just wondering how did my phone not get on the plane in time. So mad right now. Samsung could have shipped these one day earlier.

Oh and the origin of teh phones is the same BUT it isn't digital river this time despite it being in Indy. I'm wondering if they simply changed their name.

I think it would have made sense if Samsung gave an early bird deadline known to the public so all who ordered before the deadline will get their phones shipped at the same time, instead of doing them randomly by when ordered

Yeah I would like to see some movement on the Samsung order page. I had almost talked myself into canceling and waiting until the iPhone 8 announcement to decide. So I’m still on the hook with Samsung. Can’t justify going to T-Mobile and dropping an extra few hundred dollars for the same thing.
