Samsung (direct from them): Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Has anyone who already received their GN8 but their memory card was back ordered, received their card in the last week or so? I know the people who got their cards first, got a card from a previous promotion that was twice the size for this promotion.

Are people still getting that one? I've finally got a notice that my card is sorta on the way, and I wonder if I'll be lucky enough to get the one that's double sized or not.

I will let you know, it's gonna arrive today.

I wonder if the 256gb one many of us got last year was to kind of makeup for the N7 recall. I didn't get mine until well after I'd turned my N7 in.

Mine is due to arrive today, expecting the 128. I have the 256 from last year in my phone now, but will probably swap it out for the 128. 256gb is just FAR more than I'll ever need, so I'll save it for something else.

My guess is it was a mistake that got corrected. They have done more then enough for the note 7 users. I can hardly wait till note 9 drops, I can see the posts now... For the ones that couldn't take advantage of the note 7 offer for the note 8, we should be able to redeem the offer for the note 9. Lol

I don't see it that way. The promotion was for 128. Some lucky people got 256 for whatever reason. I'm happy for them. I got 128 as promised. The fact that some people got more than expected has nothing to do with what was owed to me. If I got less than promised - that would be a different story.
