Sure Samsung pay will work on a unlocked USA version , keep in mind SP just lowered there rewards and points ,I still use for the convince factor ^^^

Last unlocked purchased for S6, SP doesn't work. That is why I asked.

...hit 'em w/a S9+ purple order this morn @12:01am (Fri)...previously got the ok from Sam for the 'any-smartphone-trade-in' i was gonna send in...oldie from 2010 TracFone days ! hey, - $50 off for this relic just sittn in a desk drawer ain't too shabby ! been using my Nexus 6P (replaced batt 7/2017, via iFix vid !) since 11/02/15...frickn best phone i ever owned...never fkd up once on me and took great pics/vids...(see TracFone attch/pic)
...anywho, haven't had a Sammy in my arsenal for yrs...diggn on the AKG tuned stereo speakers this time around (like the 6P) but what beats the Nexus is the ip68 5' for 30min h2o dunk feature, yessss ! root l8r down the road ? we'll see... cheers gang !

FYI

You can combine ebates + unidays discounts.

Here is what I did via my desktop using chrome
1) login to myunidays account
2) search/activate Samsung discount (unidays will redirect you to Samsung.com)
3) log in to Samsung.com account (you should see the unidays price if you go to the preorder page, but you don’t have to do so at this time)

Do not close any browsers/tabs

4) open a new tab on your existing browser and go to ebates and login to ebates.
5) search/follow the Samsung discount on ebates (ebates will redirect you to Samsung.com. “Noticed you still logged in to unidays and samsung”). Now you can follow the preorder page on Samsung.com and select your new toy and trade-in (if any).

I got over $40 discount on unidays and $65.97 cb on ebates. I selected the unlocked s9+ and trade in my S7.

So, discounts+trade in value/credit came out to a little over $400 in saving for me.

If you register an .edu email address, you can get a student discount (it was almost $50 off). The only verification is done by clicking the link in the email. I combined that with an S7 edge trade-in (300 off) and ebates (getting $71 back). I got the Verizon version as wifi calling is important to me. Not too bad!

Are the unlocked model on Samsung website International or the US unlocked?

I have an unlocked S7 Edge (bought from eBay) intended for Iraq, flashed with UK firmware. I can use Samsung Pay, no problems. However, none of the promotions through Samsung pay would apply as they are intended for UK and not for US. I'm on AT&T.
You just need to make sure that the firmware that's on your phone is for a country where Samsung Pay is available. I chose UK, could have used Australia, India, Singapore etc. I guess.

Are you in US? They said if you order by 8th you will get it on 14th. Also US unlocked model is not dual SIM.

Because I thought I would order the dual sim version there now seems to be a delay and that is now not due to be shipped until the 15th with delivery on the 16th.

Samsung Premiere no charge for one month with pre order. Any experience with this long term? Experience using the damage claim? Fine print says they will send someone to your location once a month to teach you how to use your phone. Competence of the tech? Any actual knowledge on this will be appreciated

Thanks again to this community. Never dealt with Ebates before. Signed up for Ebates today and pre-ordered the S9+. Received a student discount of $64.65 (didn't need UNiDAYS - an .edu email address tied to the Samsung account enabled the student discount).

And I find that I've already received the Ebates discount of $53.84 + $10 Welcome Bonus = $63.84. After these discounts, plus the trade in and sale of another phone, the S9+ will cost me $440.32.

Separate, your carrier is not involved here. If you are talking about Samsung Financing then you will get monthly bill from whichever bank Samsung is using to finance. You should be able see that info in the terms and conditions. Easy option is after financing is done set up autopay on your new account with the bank and don’t have to worry about it.
