Samsung direct orders on Sept 11th?

Says it ships on 9/11, 2 day shipping, should arrive 9/13. However, Samsung.com said the S8/+ would arrive early as well and they missed the date they stated.

Some in the AT&T forum (I think) were showing a 9/5 ship date. I wouldn't put any confidence in any of these dates at this point.
