9/9 is the most likely date. As of Tuesday, this is what I have heard from a Samsung rep that it is going to be the drop date.
Not sure about 4 other phones launching that date, but there are a ton of devices at EOL, so their replacements would be coming, and most likely they are not smartphones.
A previous "roadmap" leak showed some ZTE devices (a tab and hotspot I think) and a pair of Kyocera rugged "Sprint Direct Connect" phones (Duramax and Duracore) on the launch list, so that would make sense if they all came on the 9th. Sprint is also getting both Blackberries and the Conquer on the 21st, so some of these devices might release on the 21st.
Either way, the new phone looks really nice; lightweight, thin, 1800mah battery (that fits the Epic), great screen, exynos processor, etc, and I can't wait to get me one.
