Samsung G5 disconnecting from bluetooth

[Android Central Question]

Hi,

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900I) with android marshmallow 6.0.1
I'm using it to connect to a Bluetooth speaker in my kitchen.
I want to to play the radio and stay connected overnight without stopping.
Currently, an hour or so after connecting it goes to sleep and drops its connection.
There's no problem reconnecting, but I want to be able to leave it on all the time so it sounds like someone is in my house.
Any ideas?

Great thinking "App Power Saving" was on.
I've disabled it now and will continue the testing

Afraid this has not worked

It doesn't appear to be the Bluetooth that drops out but the phone stops sending audio.
The audio app is still running and when I swipe the screen everything goes back on again no problems.
I've checked the app and there are no sleep or snooze functions set on.

Which app are you using? Have you tried other audio apps, like Google Play Music?
