Samsung Galaxy A5 slow to unlock

[Android Central Question]

I'm having some issues with my Samsung Galaxy A5, not huge right now but seems to be getting more frequent. Every so often when I press the home button or the lock button to unlock the phone it takes a little while, up to about 30 seconds, to catch up and actually unlock. Started off every few days and now happens multiple times a day.

I'm also getting notifications that the SD card has been removed or that the SD card is corrupt, but I don't have an SD card in the phone. Any suggestions on what's going on?
