Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 - Pre ordering?

Are you able to register it for warranty? I couldn't register my GW3 that I bought on Swappa because Samsung wanted me to upload a receipt. I don't anticipate any trouble with a watch the first year anyway. I didn't need a receipt when I bought an new open box S10+ off Swappa but maybe things have changed.

Actually I now saw it my account twice just now when I went in to check. One entry has the request service and the other says to call 800#. It must have picked it up twice because I tried to scan IMEI and Serial numbers or maybe it picked it up eventually from being assigned to my account. I had gotten error messages but I guess it went in correctly once. The second one must have been the one asking for receipt and therefore the 800# which I deleted.

Ringke Clear case came in ...hanging with his little brother ...I like the black case better but this one will show off my skins ...also be very careful removing case it fits in snugly ..I do have the skin so might contribute to it ..

Is the clear case on the iPhone 12 Pro a Ringke too??

I was just at BB today to look at the 12 Pro first time. I will be getting one in that exact Blue for my daughter as a gift as she is off to her first year of college and replace her XS and thinking which clear case... Spigen or Speck but that one looks good too. Actually they all look good... they're clear lol... but was thinking Speck because my experience they are extra beefy compared to others and my daughter is clumsy with her phones even though surprisingly has never broke or cracked one.

That case you have seems it has a decent amount of raisivity but enough if you put a tempered glass on it?? You going to glass the screen??

Held a Fold 2 for first time. Super nice design, feel screens!! Would love one... but... I think I'd have a problem carrying it my pocket daily.

Yea man it’s a Ringke only small OCD I have with it .. if I press the sides seeing a watermark sometimes ..I bought it till I decide what case to pick up ..it has a little lip enough for me and fits a screen protector..I’d personally go with a Speck for your daughter..they make sturdier cases especially for those that need it ..I’m not putting a SP at least as of now ...I would love to go careless tbh ..I’m not rough on my tech and I have Apple Care ..also I’m coming from 11 Max Pro so I feel I can handle this phone easily ..now carrying my Fold has been a pleasant surprise and how you get used to carrying it around no issues ..I have no problem with it ..

LOL but pricier so I guess I was just looking around for alternatives but I'll go Speck. I hear the glass is one level higher than last years model for scratch resistance and my wife and daughter actually don't worry or give scratches a second thought. But that's "my" OCD and I slap one on for her anyways lol.

It does pick up a little bit so far I’ve wiped it a few times lol thinking when they release their matte case it will be better ...on Reddit that case they were talking about from AliExpress looks promising..it’s like the one piece carbon fiber but full case ..

Thanks man ..Haha I hear ya I’m with you on the OCD ...I just popped in BestBuy they had the Tech 21 clear looked good too ..Speck clear and one Speck clear with ridges on back like their color cases ...They were all higher priced so I’d price check for sure ..I’m always checking lol

Yeah I saw that one with ridges and I liked it. But I figured my daughter would like the crystal clear. Went on the Speck site pretending I never been there. give them my email address so they can spam me, and accepted their 25% off offer. $29.96 for the Speck Presidio Perfect Clear.

And just ordered the 256GB 12 Pro in Blue with ETA of 11/16, Spigen tempered SP, 20watt adapter and extra USB-C cable... Ugh, I'm done spending for the day.

Kudos ..you’re a great dad ...well worth the spam ..she’s going to be really happy my friend ..great choices IMO ...I’ve been doing some speed test around Staten Island today for some nice speeds with the phone ..I have Verizon and when I activated phone I had to use their sim ..not sure if any different from previous but has me wondering to call them tomorrow about the one in my Fold ...

Lol. Congrats. Welcome to the fold 2 family. Yeah I have been with the note series so long I thought I would never leave it for another phone, let alone a foldable phone. Lol. I will say I do miss my note10+ sometimes. The note20 is the only note I didn't want lol. Went to z flip which is a good phone but the fold 2 won and the flip sits in a drawer as backup or when I feel like a smaller phone. Well smaller when folded I mean. I will say tho, when I have my fold 2 unfolded I do catch myself reaching at the bottom of phone going for the spen from time to time I hope the fold 3 is ready for the spen. If not I might get the note21 if it comes out. But I have no regrets on this fold 2 so far. While I do use the front screen, 98% of the time the phone is unfolded lol. My husband still says he thinks I'll go back to bestbuy and buy another note10+ in blue one day lol. That was my favorite note. Lol. How are you liking your fold 2 so far?

So far I am loving it. I didn't think I would buy the fold 2 when it first was announced, in fact I bought the note 20 ultra and slammed the fold 2. I was seeing way to many positive reviews and comments I finally caved and bought one. I had zero interest in the first fold, but since samsung answered the biggest negative for me which was the small front screen I decided to go for it. It took some getting used to the narrow front screen, but once I did it is nice. I don't have to stretch across the screen to tap something, it's all pretty much in reach. I find this phone very functional, very easy to reply to messages, quick Facebook checks and such things on the front screen, and when I want to sit down and get involved in something, open the phone up and have a bigger screen. Just like this comment, I can proof read a longer comment without having to scroll up and down, I can see the whole comment on the display.

If samsung keeps the technology coming, the fold screen holds up and it appears it has on the first fold after they corrected the first issue, I think I am on the fold wagon. It is so nice having the narrow screen for quick stuff so it's easier to navigate one handed and the bigger inside screen for more involved usage. To me, using a phone one handed for quick things is a bonus, I did all sorts of things on the notes to make one handed usage doable, I don't have to do anything on the front screen with the fold 2 to use front screen one handed. I figure if you need to use 2 hands to run a phone you might as well have a bigger screen. The fold 2 gives me both options with minimal footprint. I don't care if they bring the S pen to the fold myself, I'm not sure it's even a good idea with the inside screen. Samsung pushed the envelope when they first released the note and they created a monster over the years with that phone, I now think samsung is doing the same with the fold. For the fold 2 being one of the first generation folding phones, I think they did a solid job and I am so far very happy. They need improvement of course, but it is a pretty solid phone and can hold up to the note series IMO. The next model has one need before anything else, and that's the SD card slot. Samsung dropped the ball there.

Edit...I think your husband is wrong, I think the fold will keep getting better and better that you will stay with it.

Lol, I have the Samsung Aramid, the VRS nonkickstand black, sent the second VRS case back. Using the AI autofocus front with Aramid back. And now have the Aliexpress non kickstand Aramid front and back case on order. I definitely plan on getting the matte clear Ringke case ,but will most likely wait for it to show up on Amazon.
