Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus Clear View Case: Notifications not waking the side view

Has anyone else picked up this case and found a way to get notifications to wake the side panel? I would like to see new notification badges while it sits on the charger, but these dont wake the panel.

maybe you need to enable it in settings like with some s-view covers in the past (or you got a faulty or fake cover)

would it be in AOD settings maybe to show notifications or AOD needs to be on for it to work

It doesnt seem to be related to the AOD. For example, when I set AOD to always show, the Clear View side panel still goes away after a few seconds.

I did find the Clear View setting in Accessories and did not see an option there relating to when and how long to show the time, badges etc. Given that, it may not be a setting which currently exists unfortunately.

I don't have an answer... I stopped using the Flip Covers a couple of years ago.

It just irritates me that Samsung makes all these nice colored phones and then doesn't make a clear backing for the Flip Covers!!
