Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Verizon - Preorders, shipping and arrivals

Re: Need help deciding between Verizon Edge, Contract or Prepaid for Note 4?

Beat option based on what you want is EDGE. You can get a $45 1GB plan with EDGE and then pay $30 per month for the Note 4. You get no activation fee ($35) and a new phone after 18 month. Going that route you basically paid $270 for the phone. You can do a two year contract and pay $60 a month for the same plan and pay $299 + $35 act fee for the phone. Prepaid starts at $45 a month for 500MB and the phone would cost you $699.

So yes, based on the options you asked for, EDGE is the most logical move to make. Plus, if you're new to Verizon and want to port your number over to Verizon, they're giving $150 bill credit for doing so.

ordered white on 9/23. card was charged and order is still "processing“. you would figure people who ordered earlier would get it earlier but whatever

Re: Verizon N4 Shipped!

And there's a thread about people waiting for their shipment, and a thread about what to expect about the Verizon shipment..... I wish people would learn how to use the search feature....sigh.....

Ikr...with all these threads I can barely keep up!

No kidding... So much clutter with these multiple threads

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Verizon ready to ship!

I love how Verizon said it was overnight shipping yet it's 2 day.. Even though I asked three times to three different workers and they all said overnight. False advertising?

Re: Verizon ready to ship!

Yeah now when I called back the lady is saying it will ship on the 23rd and I should get it on the 27th. I said what was the point of pre-ordering if I'm going to get it 5 days after release I would just be better of going into a sore and buying it on the 23rd.
T here's nothing stating that you can't get it in the store, I spoke to a rep that said, if I don't receive it by the time it's in the store, then by all means go to the store, they'll just cancel the shipping if it hadn't shipped or I can send the shipped phone back by declining it with the delivery driver. Either way you still get your phone on the 23rd.

Re: Verizon ready to ship!

My credit card just got charged. No tracking number yet.

Thanks for the info! Would you be able to to explain how you only pay $270 for the phone with the Edge program. As I understand it I will pay $699 plus tax to own the phone

I am also intrigued with the $150 bill credit for new customers to port over their old number. How do I go about getting that discount and do you have a link that explain how it works. Thanks again!

I work for Verizon if you can swing it just get the 2 year contract. The edge plan got switched to 18 months instead of 12 when you can upgrade it depends on the person but I don't care for edge

If you work for Verizon you better check your policy. Edge got changed to 24 months and 75%.
