Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phone locked won't accept fingerprint.

Scuffed up finger. Don't remember backup pw. Reset pw for gmail accounts and phone won't accept them. How do I open my phone without factory reset?

Did you try using Android Device Manager to unlock the phone?

Please don't do this. We can't (other than helping you do a factory reset).
