Samsung: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

Last time I checked mine was scheduled to ship week of 9/2. I was told since Monday 9/3 was a holiday, it would ship between Tuesday and Friday. I called again today, was told it was strange there was no movement on my order since it was supposed to ship on 8/26. Today they told me since they get very limited info from shipping department, my order was referred to shipping dept as an elevated case (received email confirmation of such), should receive a follow-up email soon and when resolved, would receive a promo code up to $99.

I'll post any updates.

8/10: ordered Blue 512GB, T-Mobile variant, to receive by 8/24
Free AKG Headphones offer on purchase
8/11 order status backordered, to ship by 8/26
8/30: offered 10% off order for not canceling, to be applied at the time order is shipped. Will ship week of 9/2
9/7 case elevated, offered promo code up to $99 when case resolves
 
Mine was elevated also but I got no email. Just got a letter.feom the president about my BBB complaint. It said nothing other than it is in fulfillment waiting to be shipped. I was told that last Friday.

There has to be tons more people having this same problem and not just in this little forum. Like another guy said how are bigger blogger websites or news sites not talking about this? I've never had to deal with such BS of not knowing when a product was going to arrive or at least an accurate estimate of arrival. How can amazon and other stores have this in stock but not the actual maker of the damn phone?! Blows my mind. Ordered August 15th told several times it would ship the week of September 2nd (who says that anyway? "The Week Of...") WTF man it's the 7th and you still can't tell me when the F--k I'm going to receive this god damn phone?!
 
Been following this thread for a few weeks now, so I figured I'd share my version of this story.

Preordered the 512GB Blue Unlocked on 8/13. Was originally told it would ship the week of Aug 26th.

Never heard any updates regarding a delay or backorder. Cancel button no longer appears on my order as of last week.

On Tuesday of this week I chatted in to ask what was up, they told me it would ship this week.

On Thursday I chatted back in to double check on if they had any updates, and after arguing for a bit, was told they guaranteed shipment in '1-3 business days.'

I am a patient person, and I still want this phone despite how Samsung has treated us, so I will wait until Tuesday of next week. At that point, if there is no ship confirmation, I will order from Amazon, and refuse any shipments/charges to my card from Samsung.

This really sucks, and I am also in the boat of first and last time I order from Samsung. I feel like as pre-order customers, we deserve at least some basic level of communication, and perhaps even priority given that we are choosing to pursue a direct "relationship" with Samsung through this purchase. I'm not even that mad about the delays, just the lack of communication, and the fact that we are basically being held hostage for an order that they continue to lie about. If you have a bunch of unexpected orders fine - tell me, and allow me to cancel if you can't give me a ship date. Not allowing us to cancel orders they have misled us on, and still cannot give exact ship dates on, should be illegal.

I'll let you guys know how '1-3 business days' goes...
 
I ordered on 8/10 and people who ordered a week after me already received theirs. Sounds like they have a huge cf going on over there

Anyone order the 512gb Blue T-Mobile variant from Samsung.com on or before August 15th and still have no movement or credit card charge?
