I'm sorry, but they don't send emails saying they are shipping soon. They send emails to report that they have actually shipped your package with a tracking number.

I hope we see movement this week, even tomorrow hopefully the ball gets rolling if they release it a week early like the Note 8. I wonder if labor day had to do with them wanting to get it out early too last year due to possible delays.

When is that next Iphone X "Plus"supposed to come out. Curious if there's a "production race"on this one - Samsung /Apple. I dont follow Apple much.

They usually make an announcement in September. I was planning on a upgraded iPhone (I’m on the iPhone upgrade program through t-mobile) but the Note9 tempted me away from Apple!

I’m addicted to new tech

Honestly, it’s not that bad. I save backups of each device, so it’s easy to bounce back and forth. The only thing I lose is WhatsApp message history - backups are only restore-able on the same OS on which they were made.

I used a GS9+ for a few weeks, until my wife’s LG V20 died, so she’s using that now. The Note9 is basically a GS9++, so I know it’s going to be a highly capable and well-made device.

I miss iMessage a little bit when I switch. I use an iPad at home and I love message syncing and forwarding between iOS devices. My regular SMS/MMS forward to the iPad as well, which is really cool.

I’m using an iP8+ right now and I’m not looking forward to losing my home button with the upcoming iPhone models. Face ID seems inconvenient for things like Apple Pay.

I’m a techie that loves phones. But I’ll probably stick with the note 9 for a long time now. Getting too pricey to keep switching.

I always have the latest iPhone and latest Android phones, and have zero problems switching between them any time to use as daily driver

X is so small how do you deal with it.
