Samsung also said those who did not reserve will get their orders mid-September, glad I reserved mine!

That would be messed up since on their website it says as long as you order before the 20th, you should get the phone by 24th.

I actually just checked the website to make sure and now it doesn't say that, but at the time I ordered it did say that. SO they must be dialing back on some of their promises now.

I didn't reserve phone but ordered on the 12th and in my receipt, it even says that I should get the phone by the 24th.

I'll be highly upset if that's not true.

I'm hoping my order updates on Sunday/Monday, but as long as I get phone by Friday, I'm good, lol.

I'm just getting anxious. I'm trading in my S7 edge for $300!

The funny thing is that if I were buying the S9+, they'd only give me $100 for it and I compared trade-in values with Verizon and Best Buy and what Samsung is offering trumps them all. Best Buy would have given me $110 for it and through Verizon, only $90...so it's strange that the values are so different between them but I'll take it and that's the main reason why I'm getting phone because just as recent as a couple weeks ago I was thinking hard about upgrading to the S9+ and now I'm getting the Note 9 cheaper than what I would get the S9+ for at this moment.

I pre-ordered on the 10th. I paid through PayPal. The money was taken from my bank on the 13th. My order still shows "Order Placed". No big deal for me - my Note 8 is fine. Just adding my info to the story here.

If that happens I'd just cancel and order from tmobile but then I'd lose the trade in because Tmobile I know wouldnt offer me $400 trade in on s8 plus.

You could sell the s8 plus for around that amt on swappa

Finance thru Samsung but you're right my note 8 is fine. When I had the S7 Edge waiting on the note 8 that was torcher

Some have claimed their order status on samsung.com has changed though. It means the ball is rolling. They can't do them all at once. If by Sunday night I see no movement then I'd be ticked a tad.

You would think but with past pre orders it seems it doesn't matter if you order early or not. People who ordered days later would get theirs first while others get back ordered.

Last year , Sammy mess their shipment. People who preorder early got the device later than the rest of order.
