Got Samsung shipping info. Yay. Fedex was way ahead of the curve. Fedex confirmed shipping this afternoon.

I think they're just slow to update info. Mine was like that earlier on Samsung's site but FedEx showed more updated info.

Well my package arrived in Memphis tonight! There is a flight for ft myers scheduled to arrive at 3am so it "might" make it on that flight.

It's very likely it will sit in ft. myers tomorrow though. When I ordered the s8 plus it got to Ft. Myers on this same flight and then sat there and delivered the next day. It could go on a flight tomorrow night. Either way still says 8/22 so likely Wed.

Btw bank account STILL not charged. Are we for sure this is the phone and not headphones? A free Note 9?

I checked the details and it is second day air, so Wed will be the delivery for everyone most like.

Wow. What would happen if someone used a visa gift card or something and then spent the balance before they posted the final charge? How would they recoup the money? blacklist the IMI?

I'm noticing the last couple days Samsung offering more discounts and higher trade in offers according to this thread.

IMO the OVERALL demand is not as high as what was expected, however the 512GB version seems to be selling a lot more than they expected and the standard 128gb is not selling too well at all. Just based on reading this forum a lot seemed to gravitate to the 512gb. So overall I'm thinking demand for the 128gb has been disappointing while the 512gb higher. So overall demand for the devices might not be that good combined but 512gb selling a lot better.

I'm thinking they way under produced the 512gb and made way too many 128gb.

I find this thread entertaining this year as I haven't pre-ordered this time
Last year I was REALLY getting impatient as I was upgrading from the Note 4 ( Note 5 wasn't sold here and I didn't really want one, then the Note 7 was recalled same day it went on sale here) so I was really ready for a new gadget.
46mm watch pre-ordered though to calm me untill I order the Note 9

well unfortunately because of a shipping address mistake i had to cancel my 512 preorder. that said i did get the Email allowing my and extra 200.00 off s7(450.00) so i went with 128 note 9 blue for like 586.00.. thats a steal
shipping should be quick !

Sorry to hear about the error. Glad you found a solution though so heres ro that one shipping quick!

I had an issue with the app and website with my initial preorder attempt and that added about another day before I finally got it set. Now sitting here watching Fedex showing last update last night at 7:50 pm leaving indianapolis.

Lol well at least Samsung site now shows my phone shipped and I got a text from them this a.m. saying it shipped on 19th. Fedex shows 20th.
