Mine said those until 30 minutes ago. Phone still preorder but headphones in process

Yeah.... that's what it seems like. I think they're honestly going down the list based on who ordered first regardless if someone reserved or not. I think yours will change soon.

My headphones still says backordered. I ordered on the 10th so I don't think they're going in any order. But I did order the 512gb.

My phone still says preordered but the cancel button disappeared meaning that I can't make any changes now.

I pre-ordered my AT&T Note 8 asap (8/24) last year through Samsung and it shipped on Sunday 9/3; or at least the label was created. It was on the truck out for delivery from Riviera Beach, FL station to my home in Palm Beach Gardens A FULL TWO DAYS before Irma was even close, but all trucks got called back to the station. It was FINALLY DELIVERED on 9/13!
I reserved, and later pre-ordered the blue 512GB mid afternoon on 8/9 through Samsung Direct. My cancel option dropped over last evening. I am assuming Digital River will create labels tomorrow, and hopefully they'll ship Monday 8/20 with a Expedited delivery of Wednesday 8/21????

I ordered on 8/10 blue 512 AT&T with headphones, case, charger, and watch. Last night I checked my order on the website and only the watch still has a cancel order button. The headphones, case, and charger all say in process with a track order button but the phone still says preorder but no cancel order button. Hopefully they are sending everything together ^_^
