It should be! My package is 5 lbs. I chose the headphones and purchased a wireless charger. Which would make sense since most others say theirs is 4 lbs.

Aw, it seems that the leather wallet case I ordered from Samsung doesn't have tracking yet. I ordered it on the 13th, a couple days after my phone order. I'm gonna be very nervous to use this thing without a case!

I also can't wait to see all the photos people post on Wednesday from the hype

Some people have had success finding tracking info at FedEx using reference and using your samsung order number then add "_01" to the end. Hope this helps.

This worked for me. Mine shows Wednesday as well, and FedEx 2-Day. Had to use this method because my shipping address is my work address and FedEx Delivery Manager doesn't work.

That's why I ordered a case off Amazon last week. I also ordered the protective case from Samsung as well. I think it ships with the phone due to weight, 4lbs for mine. Don't go by the samsung website. That hasn't updated yet.

Ordered unlocked 512GB. FedEx is showing delivery on 8/22. Unfortunately, Sammy isn't letting me leave it at the nearest FedEx store for pickup.

Same here. Website hasn't updated, but I got my email from fed ex delivery manager showing it's a 4lb package from samsung and that a sig is required so I know it's the phone obviously.

Same thing though my account hasn't been charged yet. I talked to samsung last night and they said everything is fine with my bank card.

I think the reason why it hasn't been charged possibly is because one, maybe not until midnight or some other time of the day the charges go thru, or that they don't charge until the phone leaves the fedex warehouse.

Maybe they forget to charge some people and we get FREE Note 9!!!!!

I was told my my bank (Capital One) is that when you first do the preorder, then will take and "hold" the money just to see if you have the money in the account, then the put the money back in your bank account, then once they ship they will actually take the money back out

Glad 512 GB are getting delivered for those who got 8/24 as delivery in their order confirmation. Some people started to say that 512 GB doesn't even exist just because no reviewers got it
That's common practice generally companies isn't going to give reviewers the highest end SKU.

Well yeah, this is for Samsung.com orders and that's what they put the reference number in the order. If Verizon uses FedEx you can use FedEx track by reference as well but you have to first know what they put under reference number in the orders. You can ask in the Verizon thread from someone who has got tracking what they put in reference number and if there is a pattern to it which others can use to find theirs via track by reference.

I don't think this work if you buy your phone directly from Verizon.

So i think we can assume the majority of us are getting it Wednesday. But a little off topic any seasoned samsung trade in people have any advice for sending my galaxy s8+ back in do they give u a kit to ship it back in? Do I include my original box? Headphones? Charger? Its scaring me that it said trade un value 400 now it says "max" trade in value 400 any info is greatly appreciated

Take pictures of all sides and record a video of you packaging it up. Send just the phone. The package should have return instructions.
