You shouldn’t have to get the door tag keep checking app as soon as they put missed delivery attempt as long as you have your have your id and the package is in your name you should be fine without a door tag

Which I think is a bunch of BS, they should let us change it as long they get a signature who cares as long as its signed for.. this annoys me the **** out of me with every cell phone company..

I would rather have it held at he depot go pickup after work then to go all the way home to get the door tag and wate gas going all the way back down to pickup at the depot

Agreed, but I also asked if I could sign the door tag, take it with me, and pick up at their hub on Thursday, they said "No, the signed tag is only valid for their second (or third) attempt and it is not valid to change the shipping address to a pickup".

That may work after three attempts, but you may want to verify your advice with FedEx.

Oh and about shipping, that's just estimated that's an auto number that is spit out. On previous pre orders it might just sit at the hub for a few days. Not saying that will happen but it could be sitting until Wed and then we get it on Friday. That estimate is automatically spit out by the computer when it's picked up.

It depends on who their insurance provider is who insures the phones during shipment. I own a small business and when I ship high value items the 3rd party insurance company I use requires I must ship it to the address on the invoice and depending on the purchase price tier I have to ship it with a signature for insurance company to provide insurance.

My neighbor will run out and greet the fedex guy even though he knows the package is for me. It also seems my packages have been open too. A former neighbor told me he likes to find out what people buy so he can tell the landlord into raising the rent if its something expensive.

A glitter bomb is an awful thing to send to someone and you should not send a glitter bomb that could possibly be intercepted by your neighbor.

I just checked with reference number and I have a delivery on 8/22 by 4:30 pm. It says 5lbs, I ordered the ATT 512 ocean blue with headphones, case, charger, and watch. I am hoping the watch is in there too ^_^

Yeah, Samsung locked down any changes to the delivery (address, hold, signature). I spoke with my local hub and they said I could leave a signed note on my door authorizing leaving the phone on my porch if no one is home and the driver will leave it at the first attempt, as opposed to him leaving a door tag that I can sign to authorize leaving on the second attempt. My neighbors are like Ray, Art, and Rumsfield in The 'Burbs, so I can rest pretty easy knowing that the full neighborhood watch is in effect.

Of course, this is not ideal, or even an option, for many people. Anyone taking off of work?

Do you have to call to make that arrangement or if I just put a signed note (note for the Note), will they deliver? Just curious if they have to authorize that first.

Samsung is requiring an "Indirect Signature":

Indirect Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager or someone at a neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present.

This is the policy for any FedEx package with that requirement.

Could be a day sooner too. I’ve had that happen before ordering from Sammy since they ship from Indy which is less than 200 miles away.

I was just now able to locate the fedex shipment using the reference number trick.

I got an email stating the trade in value for my s8+ was now $500..up from $400. I may cancel my T-Mo order with the $500 in bill credits if possible. Anyone know time frame for a 128 Blue if I order today?
