I'm not saying the contract stated a lie. I have doubts that a specified delivery date was even in the contract (may or may not have been there not disputing the fact either way) but Merriam Webster lie 1. b." an untrue or inaccurate statement that may or may not be believed true by the speaker or writer. " they believed that they could fulfill orders accordingll to the deadline but that proved untrue making it a lie.

So if everyone orders it and the factories which they have no control over cant make all the phones it's a lie? It doesnt say hey we have all the phones in the world to ship them to all of ya. Yes they did state pre order by the 20 to get by 24th but there's way too many people ordering that phone meaning supply runs out, they have to wait to get more. The website does state when they ship, always does. Your invoice wont, its generic for everyone it's under one system and it's just a layout basically. It upsets me that people bash and say it's a lie and make the company seem bad when it's how the world works. You order , it sells out or backordered. it's high demand especially for premium flagship devices.

Well since leaving Memphis at 346 today I have not got any new updates. If it flew to Tampa it probably would have been scanned by now. I'm wondering if it's coming via train. You could do the drive in about 12 hours to Tampa but that would be cutting it way too close without any breaks other than bathroom.

I did drive from Valdosta Georgia back to St. Louis in just over 10 hours just stopping for gas and the bathroom.

I'm in the same boat but mine is coming to Dallas Texas

I chatted with the online support and the rep told me he is not 100% sure they will actually receive the phone on that date I am from Canada and Samsung Canada completely botched the 512GB pre-order and now we are facing up to 8 weeks of delay so that left me with no choice but to order it from USA.

For people concerned about needing to sign for it, you can leave a note on the door with your signature stating that you authorize them to leave the package. Personally, I have printed out the tracking page and added my signature to it stating authorization twice in the past and they have left the package for me. Now, that relieves fedex of any liability and could be a bad idea depending upon how your neighbors are, but it's an option.

That works with some fedex drivers not all. I've left a note before authorizing to leave it and my driver leaves a door tag saying he didn't leave citing "security reasons" I live in the middle of hickville on a country road and no public transit for miles where the biggest problem with crime we have is cows in the road, it not like I live in the depths of west Baltimore....
