Samsung galaxy note7 enhanced messaging

Does the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 not have enhanced messaging anymore. I've looked all over and I can't find it. My Note 5 and s7edge had the setting. Now all my messages go through as sms to anyone else with a Samsung device.

Yeah I'm kind of upset about this. I just discovered this recently on my note 5 and really liked it.

If I remember correctly it said something about it during the first time setup, and its on by default on the AT&T note 7 as well.

No, not at all. It will be a regular SMS/MMS if you sent to an iMessage user.

Well I'm on Verizon and don't see it which sucks. That would be a great feature to have.

Verizon has their own messaging app, T-Mobile and at&t use advanced messaging. Advanced Messaging has all the same features as iMessage but it won't show up with a blue bubble. On top of that it won't work between T-Mobile and at&t until/unless they first allow interoperability between networks and fix the behind the scenes stuff.

I text my brother to his s7 edge and goes as sms and mms so its not turned on
And we are both on tmo

Hopefully these carriers get it together and interop these services. Ex. VoLTE, RCS, Roaming.

T-Mobile has it automatically. You don't have to enable it. You do however have to turn on some settings. Here is a screenshot. Make sure he has his setting as the picture above. If he doesn't, it won't show on your end.
