samsung galaxy s

Hey Guys,

Just saw this from Engadget.
Samsung teases next Android announce, Galaxy S bound for T-Mobile next month? -- Engadget

I remember following up on this phone for a while. Looks promising. Seems like it has something similar to google goggles and you can use it as a remote control to Samsung hdtv's. Also, you can stream your movies from your phone to the Samsung hdtv's wirelessly. Pretty crazy. I wonder how this will stack up against the Evo and Incredible.

My 1st post :)

As many video's & pages I've been to, I'm saying it this S is gonna kick butt! I'm hooked, I only hope the sound is OK & I'm not worried about not having a flash.
One more thing this S is the 1st GEN, what is Samsung going to make next that will be better than the S? My B-day is in August & I'm going to buy myself a nice present!!!
This will be my 1st Android & I have had many others, so I'm kind of excited.

IS Galaxy S HSPA+

Does anyone know if the Galaxy S supports HSPA+ ? Both T-Mobile and AT&T are suppose to have HSPA+ up to a majority of US locations by the end of this year. I would assume that they are going to have some HSPA+ phones available otherwise whats the point. It appears that the iphone 4 is not, will the Galaxy S be the one?

@whitenack & Jeravicious, thx that's a 'few'more added to the list! Thx.

No prob!! Any time! Yea, the S seems sweet!! Although I am with sprint and will be picking up the evo soon, I'd def get the S if I were on t-mobile. Having experienced Samsung phones like the instinct, I feel that Samsung makes good phones. The Instinct seemed to be a test phone going into the smart phone market. It did have a lot of good features such as voice search. As being worried about sound on their phones, the volume on the Instinct was loud and clear!

I hope this has not been posted yet, if it did I'm sorry to repost but it's the best video of this presentation that I've found.
YouTube - Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Unpacked in Las Vegas (1of 2)

There's a link for part two. With a 4" screen, 16gigs of internal memory, and more features than a magazine, this phone will be one to watch out for!

Thanks for posting...hadn't seen it. However, that presentation shows the Yahoo! calendar, not a Google calendar. I wonder if it will work with a Google calendar the same way?

Surely you mean "Galaxy S is coming for all four carriers..." as that 29th date is the date of the Samsung launch party in New York.

Its the Samsung Galaxy S and its modifications not the EVO that is coming to all 4 carriers.

Galaxy S class phones (with carrier modification models)

AT&T (Confirmed, Samsung Captivate)
T-Mobile (leaked almost confirmed, Samsung SGH-T959)
Sprint (leaked almost confirmed, no model name(with physical keyboard and flash) )
Verizon (no word or leaks yet, no model name)
