Samsung Galaxy S10 Tips & Tricks

I can see the Samsung find my mobile under my setting as well. I have the unlocked model and guessing mustang has the unlocked model as well. If I recall Mike has Verizon version, won't be surprised if the carrier version/firmware doesn't have that.

Yeah some carriers like Verizon version don't support it, it's the same on other Samsung Verizon models as well, they doesn't have some other Samsung cloud stuff if I recall.

Verizon cares about the best customer experience, so they will be happy to sell you the best in world Verizon cloud solutions.

PS: I don't care about Samsung cloud stuff as well when the mother of all Google is there

That's crazy if Verizon deleted that security option but carrier do their own thing . Unlocked model and T-Mobile version pretty close just don't like carrier splash screen.

Yeah nothing new and people don't mind or care about that kind of modification or stuff missing from carrier version, since they continue to buy them.

Similar to me on the unlocked model not giving a **** if some carrier feature like advanced calling is missing, last on software update etc and I'll continue to buy the unlocked model since I have fundamental opposition against carrier versions

Yea, it is not on the Verizon model... Oh well. I never forget my password or PIN or face... LOL

I'm OK without the unlock feature. Find my device will locate, play a sound, secure or erase the device.

There is an app in the Galaxy Apps store called Edge Touch. When you enable it, it stops accidental edge panel touches even with a case on. I was still having problems where my fingers were touching the edges of the screen when I held my phone and this has pretty stopped it.

Either they don't care or didn't realize they had it lol

I would buy directly from Samsung unlocked but hear too many horror stories about not honoring the trade in and best buy don't trust either .. I easly flash the unlocked firmware once I get it network unlocked .

I don't know man I have bought many times from Samsung.com and never had any issue with trade in. I have been lucky that way and hopefully lucky this time as well since I sent my trade in yesterday

Yeah not a bad option if you are planning to flash, that's one good thing with all models they are all compatible and you can flash unlocked on to carrier, or carrier on to unlocked.

I would be shocked if anyone sent in a pristine phone always in a case and screen protector, etc get rejected. Thats why I keep mine covered so I don't have to worry that they may see the giant scratch on the back. :)

I'll take a chance next time around see how it goes with Samsung direct .

Yeah flashing very easy between unlock or carrier to carrier.

I am probably going to do Samsung directly next time as well... maybe for the Note

The only thing I miss is the Camera and fast updates, but even the updates are more incremental nowdays.

Between the watches, phones and tablets Sammy has everything I want.

Check back with me when the nice shiny phones come out in Oct / Nov tho :D

Lifting my phone just shows the AOD. Unless someone can prove it's beneficial to turn off, mine is staying on.
