Samsung galaxy S2 4..0.4 ICS and swype not working

Help please

I have a samsung galaxy S2 just upgarded to 4.0.4 ICS

Swype is not working
got settings , language and input.... swype is ticked
goto settings applications scroll to swype its all greyed out

no idea now

any help much appreciated

hi, in case you are still having troubles, you can turn on swype by clicking the 'default' and selecting swype.
It's that simple.
Hope it helps.

The problem I have is that it does not seem to save new words I write so I have to type them manually.
Anyone with help on this part? Thanks.
