Is there a way to create your own ringtone from a recording. I want to record my wife snoring and set it as her ringtone to wind her up whenever she rings lol

You can try using an app called Ringtone Maker.

I did try Google and couldn't get the answer I was looking for, then I posted it on here. Is that not what ur meant to do but Thankyou very much for ur patronising answer

I would think that this would be a 3-step process.

1. Use the Voice Recorder app to record your beloved's dulcet stertor, and if necessary to trim the recording to an appropriate length. If possible, save it to the Ringtones folder.
2. If you can't save it there directly, you'll need to use a file-management app such as My Files to move the recording to the Ringtones folder; alternatively, attach the phone to a computer with a USB cable and use the computer's file explorer to move the recording.
3. In Contacts, open your wife's contact info and make this her ringtone.

The key move, obviously, is getting the recording file into the phone's Ringtones folder, which is where all apps look for possible ringtones.

Not sure why you had such a hard time getting a Google result...But you are more than welcome.

okay once you have the recording save it then it will say voice 001 or what ever you have named it. on the recording name press and hold the name a list will come up go into (set as) then more options phone ringtone- caller ringtone- alarm tone. pick the one you want and done.

So I have already done all ^^ that to add my own ringtone however I want to use it as a notification/text tone but it will not allow it. ?? Please help:-*
