Samsung Galaxy S4 - Freezing when trying to dial phone number....

When trying to dial out in the phone app it freezes. Everything else works but nothing happens when i press the numbers or try to switch to contacts, call log etc nothing. I can pull down the notification screen or return to home screen and use all the other apps but nothing in the native phone app. Happened multiple times but only within the last month. Having to restart frequently is quite annoying.

I'm having the same problem when I go to my "favorites" tab in the Phone app. Mine entire phone freezes when this happens though and I have to pull the battery in order to get it to work again.

This only started happening in the last week or two for me, although the problem could have been introduced earlier. I don't usually call people (preferring to text instead), so I don't open the Phone app very often.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?
