My Samsung Galalxy S4 sometimes fails to recognise the miscro SD card (64 GB - Sandisk).
Most of the times it works fine - but occassionally it shows an error message that there is no SD card.
This happens when I click any photos.
I have set the default storage of my photos to SD card.
Can anyone help why it happens...any solutions please...

I would back up all of your files into your PC, this means the card is getting corrupted and it will stop working completely soon.

Thanks...however it is a new SD card...does it mean 64 GB cards dont comply with Galaxy S4...

No, most likely something is wrong with the micro sd card. There have been some issues with some micro sd cards. Check with the maker, and most likely they will send you another one.

Thanks...I realised this by looking at many similar threads...my online store has agreed to replace the card...it is yet to be delivered...hoping all will be well.
I will update after a few days...once I start using my new card. Many Thanks once again to all.

I have the same problem with a 32Gb SD card and I tried 3 different manufacturers and still have that problem

My i9500 has now destroyed 2 SanDisk and 2 samsung 64 gb microsd cards. The rate definitely accelerated with the 4.4.2 update but occurred at least once before then. Newegg warranty was only 30 days so 1 year later stuck with 16 gb main storage and a non trustworthy microsd port. Any suggestions on how to get repaired would be much appreciated!
