I'm at BB now and they are telling me they have my order but they ran out of black ones! Wtf.... They calling another store to see if they have it and can save it for me.... Never doing a pre-order from BB again... I better get my Damn phone

Amen to that. Just got an email that the charger shipped but cannot get any info on the phone. WTF, I ordered at like 5AM EST on March 27!!!!!!

Oh and I cannot cancel order because my upgrade has already been applied to my phone so if I went elsewhere I would be S.O.L

Can you cancel and get one from the carrier? I was able to walk into att and get one

Just picked it up from best buy and they price matched Verizon prices!!
and got my wireless charger

They transferred me to another BB and they have it for me! So relieved!

Also if you have unlimited and paying full price. Do not turn on the phone. They put the new SIM inside the phone already. Take the SIM out first!! Freaking verizon!!

8:28am here in Sacramento and I have no email from best buy telling me it's ready for pick up :/

Just left best buy and they don't have yet GALAXY S6 64gb only they have available 32GB and all sizes GALAXY S 6 edge. She said they expecting delivery by noon with FedEx and will call me by end of the day.

So decided to call up to my BB and see if they got them in. He said they did get the shipments in but
him - "wait what carrier did you have?"
me- "AT&T"
him- "Oh we didn't get AT&T's in for whatever reason"
me - *mini heart attack/rage*
him - "oh wait hang on someone just said we might have just gotten a ups shipment in"
*pause*
him - "yup looks like we just got them in, you can come in and pick it up"

YAY!!!

Hung up and saw the "ready for pick up" email waiting in my inbox. Now i just have to wait another hour to leave on my lunch break!

When you say matched prices, do you mean if you were paying out right for the full price of the phone? You're not talking about if you were doing it on contract right?

Ya full price, Worst buy had it for $949, they pricematched Verizons $799

Anyone who pre ordered online for verizon s6 and shipped to home....do you have ANY updates? I got an email saying its been backordered and expect delivery between 4/22 and 5/7! Status online rotates back an forth between "No status' and 'Ships in one to two weeks'. When I called BB to complain they said pre order does not guarantee availability on release date (WTF!?!?!) and that the status they see in their system is they are currently trying to locate the phone in the warehouse and that to take my online status and email with a grain of salt. Why? Becuase she said they do see I was one of the first online orders and they fullfill them in the order they got them, shipping wise, and that status could suddenly change. What about anyone else?

If they do in fact go in order and I am seen as one of the first AND it doesnt ship for a while as back ordered then BB really messed this up (we were warned i know) not getting nearly enough to cover their own pre orders....cant even cover the first few hours worth of pre orders!! Either best buy OR myself needs to realign expectations about what 'pre order' truly means.

I called my local store said I can't pick it up early said I had to wait for the email. Also I'm paying out of contract as well and they won't price match Verizon due to "hype".

Called best buy 1-888-best-buy

Only said Walmart, or target along those lines they will price match; not Verizon due to then being a carrier.


Awesome. So I will now have to run around..no way am I spending an extra $150 for a charger.

I preordered on March 27 and received the shipping notification for the wireless charger about an hour ago. Still no ready for pickup notification for the phone itself. I got the black 32 GB S6 (not Edge) on AT&T, if that matters. I previously had a bad experience with Best Buy in store pickup, but I think I'll get the notification sometime today. In any case, I'm going to the store after work. If they don't have the phone, I'll have my bank reverse the charges and get it from AT&T.
