Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Battery Probelms.

In recent months i have noticed my phones battery does not last . Over night just on stand by it will used 50% of the battery and recently it reset it self. I bought the phone the day it came out and then returned that one to verizon and recived a refuburbished one in september. Im thinking on replacing the battery my self . I cant update the phone since im no longer witn verizon.
Any Ideas on how to fix this

Hi there!

You can go to sammoible.com and download your model's, OEM software there. Then use Odin to flash the newer software, or whatever one is currently available for your device.

My battery life was once great. Now, 15 minutes of email will take me from 100‰ down to 85‰. I have concluded that over a year of very heavy use has exhausted the battery. And I haven't noticed much improvement in battery life since Marshmallow. I have to recharge several times a day.

I've done wakelock tests, etc. Sync programs manually. Uninstalled weather and other apps that like to update frequently...

So I too am thinking of replacing the battery myself. Anyone have any experience with this?

Me too. Just a few minutes of Facebook and Internet browsing makes mine lose 10%. Yesterday I got the battery completely drained in less than 3 hours with extremely heavy use. Do themes have a significant impact on battery life? I can understand if they do. I currently have a red metallic theme that changes my keyboard black with red characters plus red and silver wallpaper.

And this is with power saver on.
