I must disagree. If he was in standby for 30 hours, he shouldn't lose that much battery life. Coming from a person who lets an M7 sit idle for days on end.

The 30 hour standby remark was sarcasm by the way.

You are absolutely correct. That is why I want something more specific from actual users not reviewers. In your case you said 12 hours which I don't consider a full day. My wife's M8 is at 50-70% battery life left at 6pm and that is after 12 hours use. If you are saying it will be at say 10% left at 6pm with the M9. That's not good. However, your next post says 5am to 12am before you need to charge. Now that is a 19 hour full day and if there is 10% left at that point. Then that is good battery life.

That said, thanks for the screenshot but it is better to post usage after the battery has drained at least more than 80%. You only have it at 27% which doesn't give a very complete picture.

Lasted me a full work day I'm currently in class charging, wasn't worried about finding an outlet all day I'm happy

I got out of work at 330 plugged in my phone at 630ish like I said "I'm happy" you can stick with your m8 I'm happy with my upgrade from The Nexus 5 to the M9.

On a side note coming from nexus noticed that battery life suffered greatly from 4.4.4 to 5.0.1, there's a lot of work that needs to be done but I'm fine waiting for the bugs to get worked out that's my two cents la di da. *whistles and walks away*

This is what I got on my M7. Over 5 hours on screen time on a 2 year old phone that isn't even rooted. That's a full days use. Seems like the M9 is struggling to get to 4 hours. The max I got was 7 hours and 15 minutes. You can see that on my GSAM as well.
