Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge AT&T is starting shipments

I just got mine today and no signature was required. I was home and the driver simply placed it between the screen door and door and rang the bell.

It's a really nice phone. Here's a picture of it on my wireless Fast Charger.

But the real most amazing moment here? When you pull down the notification draw and sitting under the Quick Settings toggles, brightness slider, and Quick Connect prompt is a big black widget for DirecTV. It's not a notification — it doesn't get pushed down as more notifications roll in. No, this is an advertising prompt to download the DirecTV Quick Remote app (at least it's from Google Play) and sign up for DirecTV. And it doesn't go away until you act on it — either by downloading or signing up, or by tapping the gear icon in the top right corner and then tapping the Disable button.

Used my lunch break to stop by the house to pick mine up, set up samsung pay and confirmed my order for the free wireless charger, I will finish the rest of my setup and transfer later on tonight. Happy Camper right about now....

Out for delivery today!!!

I'm wondering if setting up Samsung Pay on the S7 counts as a different "first time card" in order for me to get the wireless charger too since it is a different device. I know it doesn't work on my S6.

Oh well, i'm excited to get home and play with my new toy!!! (yes this is a straight up toy lol) Only 9 hours to go till i'm home and have it in my hands.... and i have 0 meetings today so today is going to DRAGGGGGGG ONNNNNNNNNN.....

EDIT: my nice phone is sitting out on the porch, and i have 3 1/2 hours to go till i can leave. Luckily my wife will get to get it inside and safe in about 2 hours. Meanwhile i'll just sit here and stress out....

Got mine yesterday. Arrived with 57% battery, smart switched everything into it. Apps needed to download from Google. Used it more or less continuously setting things up till about 6 P.M. Fast charged to full, full at 7:15 P.M. 16 hours of playing later I am at 42% with 3.5 hours SOT. Very pleased.
