Samsung galaxy S8 otg not working

I got my s8 yesterday. Today decided to try out the otg adapters and every device I've plugged in won't work. A mouse, keyboard, several game controllers. Nothing happens at all. Pho e doesn't even notice anything has changed. Charging works as does pc connection. Any ideas?

Which OTG adapter did you use? The micro USB connector will not work. That's according to the user manual.

"Note: The Micro-USB connector does not support On‑the-Go (OTG) devices such as memory sticks, external hard drives, or keyboard and mouse accessories."​

Have you tried a thumb drive?

I have this adapter. It works with my S8+. I move files to/from flash drives with it about once a week.
