I don't actually have a PIN or password set but I'm talking about the screen that comes up when the phone goes to sleep and wakes up. I think it's the lock screen.

I've only had this phone for less than 2 weeks.

Today I noticed it stopped displaying the date on the lock screen. I changed the clock to an analog one. That showed up for a few minutes but now that's gone too.

I must have changed a setting but for the life of me I can't figure out what changed.

I did restart my phone but that hasn't helped.

I just noticed the analog clock came back after I removed all notifications. Now that I've played Pandora and I have a different notification also, the time is gone again. I've never noticed this before.

I moved this from the General Help forum to the S9+ forum for more specific traffic.

When you are playing music via a music player like pandora the lock screen clock is being replaced by the pandora widget. But if you swipe left or right on that widget the clock shows up again.

If you always want the clock even when you're playing music, go to Settings - Lock Screen & Security - Clock & FaceWidgets - FaceWidgets, and disable all of them.

Thanks to both of you for good answers. Really appreciate you taking the time to look at this. I never thought to swipe left/right to get the clock back. I like that.

So far, I really like this S9+. It's a nice improvement from my old S5. I thought it would be too big but it's a nice size.
