Samsung Gaptivate Glide - Fix formatted USB Storage?

One day my phone kept telling me that my USB storage was blank, and to format it. I tried plugging my phone into my computer, restarting it, cleaning the SIM, everything. Eventually I decided to format the USB storage, because all of my photos are on my SIM card anyways. I've lost all my pictures and music and I need to know if there's any way of getting them back? Please and thank you!
