Samsung gestures or traditional nav bar?

I was using the Nav bar until I got the latest update on my Note8. I liked the double tap to switch apps, and I like the nav bar in Samsungs UI was able to disappear and match the color of your theme or app. But since the update, it hasn't been doing that, or maybe I just couldnt figure out how to get that back, so I switched to gestures. Kind if reminds me of BB10, and I also like that I get more of the screen out of it. I'll likely stay with the gestures on my N10+

I like the buttons but currently have a Xs Max so might try the gestures. I frequently used the double tap to switch between the last used app when I had the S8+.

That's what's keeping me from using gesture. That and the fact that i can add a button to the navbar to pull down the notification tray.

I'm all in gestures on all my phones

Going to use the full gesture navigation without hints.

OnePlus has the closest implementation to iOS, which in my experience is by far the best and smoothest of these. But I've still defaulted to using their version of the Pixel pill rather than the gestures because both on the OP7 Pro and Samsung S10+, I've found that the swipe up gesture is too finicky between closing an app and getting to the app switcher. I'll see if it's any different in the Note 10, but I doubt it.

I'll give gestures a try on the N10. Haven't really used it since the Pixel 3.
