This probably really needs to go somewhere else but since I have an S7E I'll start here.

Samsung Health has a 2 on the icon indicating 2 messages/notifications. I went into the app and it wants me to set goals for exercise and sleep so it can give me insights (i.e. send me more crap notifications I don't want). I do NOT want to set these up. So I cancel out. The stupid number 2 on the icon won't go away. It's trying to strong arm me into setting these things up and I'm getting irate. I don't want to see the 2 and I definitely don't want to set this up just to receive more crap notifications.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this bs?

You can try going into Samsung Health settings and turn off notifications. Also, tap the light bulb in the upper right, 3 dots, insight settings and toggle it off.

LineKill as usual you saved me. Thank you. I had main notifications turned off already but couldn't figure out insights.

For anyone else with this issue...you can't turn off the insights notifications until you actually set one up.
