Samsung J7 Bluetooth issues

[Android Central Question]

My Samsung J7 will show devices in the available devices option to connect to bluetooth but when I try clicking on them they always give the message "Unable to communicate with ....". Ive tried connecting these devices to other phones and it works so I'm pretty confident that it is the J7 that is having bluetooth issues. I have tried turning phone on/off, clearing the cache, and also did a factory reset. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you also tried forgetting the devices on the phone (and forgetting the phone on the Bluetooth devices, if possible), then re-pairing?
