I kinda like the new layout for messages in pie and I'm glad they changed it so GIFs from Gboard work, but I really wish you could change the font size!

Settings>display>font size and style

And if you on a text message screen you can zoom in and out with your fingers.

I already have the size changed. It doesn't change the size of the text in the messenger ap though.

Use two finger pinch in and out to change font size while in the text app.

That's an option but it doesn't stay like that and have to do it Everytime. It's not that I can't read it I just prefer the look of bigger text. Oh well I will get used to it. If not I will just have to go back to textra :)

I'm missing Textra but I'm fed up of having extra apps on the phone that perform the same basic function. Dark Mode is really what brought me back to their stock app. Samsung needs to make their Messages app more customizable. As of now it's still primitive.

I've always been a big fan of Verizon Messages+ for the ability to customize just about everything. I found myself always matching Messages+ to the Samsung theme of my phone.

This made me start looking at the stock Samsung message app, mostly because it themes along with the phone. Then I found that a long press on and message would open a menu that let me add the text to a reminder. This is a huge benefit for me. I've been on the stock messaging app ever since this discovery.

What I don't like about the Verizon Messages+ and Google Messages is the inability to pin a contact thread to the top. Why can't that be an option?
It makes no sense!
